isbrealiomcaifeFirst thing's first: Policy. I'm not particularly fussy about what you do with my downloads, so this is a fairly standard ToS.
1. If you upload them with a Sim/Lot, give me credit, please.
2. Don't upload them exactly the way I have them and claim them as your own.
3. Don't use them in anything that's going on a pay site. (Optional donations or banner ads are fine. Adf.ly, subscriptions, and donor-only items/donor "gifts" anywhere on the site, even if it's not what you're uploading, aren't OK.) Especially no TSR.
If you use my swatches of other peoples' color palettes, they get the credit, not me. All I did was take samples so that people without Photoshop can use them.
If you have questions, feel free to ask. If your English isn't so good, I also speak French. (I also speak a bit of German, but your English is probably way better than my German.)
Now that we've got that out of the way...the obligatory "About Me" and Q&A section.
1. Who are you?
A person...? This is an awkward question. I'm female. I live on the east coast of the US, and my husband is in the Navy. We're both originally from another part of the east coast of the US. We're obviously adults, as we're old enough to be married. We were both born several centuries too late. Physically, I'm really short...like really really short...and an extreme hourglass. I am not, however, by any extent of the imagination, pretty. I like fantasy RPGs and fantasy novels. I don't have OTPs, and I'm not a fan of romance at all. I have never claimed to be a nice person. Aside from Sims, I write fantasy novels for a hobby. I listen to a lot of folk metal, and I make a lot of my own clothes.
2. But do you hate all women? Are you really a man?
I'm most definitely female, and I'm most definitely not a feminist. And I only hate the specific people I have reason to hate. Admittedly, there are far more women than men who have given me a myriad of reasons to hate them. I actually consider myself to be inferior to them, but that doesn't make me admire them or hate them any less. I don't hate anyone inherently for being female or even for being a feminist, I do, however, oppose anyone who feels the need to silence any point of view that is in any way different from their own and yet denies that they are at least as hateful as that which they claim to oppose. If you hate me, you hurt only yourself because I, honestly, do not give a damn. I have absolutely no desire to be a part of a community that would silence all opposing viewpoints because I believe that the right to disagree comes before the comfort of the majority. If you have a problem with me, there's a little x button in the upper right corner.
3. What Sims games/expansions do you have? Which do you create for?
-Sims 1 - Complete Collection
-Sims 2 - All EPs/SPs
-Sims 3 - Right now, all EPs except Showtime, Island Paradise, and Into the Future but no SPs. I have Barnacle Bay and Dragon Valley.
Currently, I only create for Sims 2.
4. What type of content do you create?
I mostly do bodyshop stuff, primarily hair and clothing recolors. I've also been known to do skin DRs, other bodyshop things, paintings, walls, and floors.
I don't mesh yet, though. I don't have Milkshape yet. This also means that I can't do any type of hair/clothing/object conversions. I also don't do mods.
5. What type of default replacements do you use in your game?
I use most of Almighty Hat's de-neonizing DRs. I use Pooklet's "Kids in Technicolor" and CuriousB's "Nothing Like the Sun" for skins and eyes, but I'm not sure which are my DRs. I use Pooklet's "We've Got Obsessions" face templates, and I use Almighty Hat's plant bark for my druid/plantsims and my own blue zombie. (Most of my other supernaturals are hidden, though I'm pretty sure my vampires are a "lightly shaded" one.) I also use Trapping's brows and various Pookleted hairs.
I guarantee you that if you're looking at my preview pix, you're looking at "Kids in Techniclor," "Nothing Like the Sun," "We've Got Obsessions," and Trapping's brows unless otherwise specified.
6. What themes/neighborhoods do you play?
I play medieval and fantasy mostly. I mostly make CC for myself, and I upload the bits I think there might be a snowball's chance in Hell that someone would use. (I doubt anyone will, but just in case.) As a result, you're not likely to see much for soccer moms here.
7. Do you take requests?
It kind of depends on the request and what's going on in real life. It doesn't hurt to ask, though.
8. What Sims sites are you on?
Currently, just Dreamwidth, which means that everything is available here, no jumping around trying to find downloads.
9. What do you use for recolors?
GIMP
Current To-Do List:
1. Make non-defaults of Trapping's face templates and Pooklet's templates for those who would rather not choose.
2. Goblin Creation Kit - skins, makeup, and either NDR faces or Sims with goblin features.
3. Plantsim hairs...er...leaves... (Started)
4. Tattoo Boxes
5. World of Warcraft robe conversions.
Possibly:
1. Bodyshape-linked and geneticized versions of Pooklet's mega skinset...once I figure out what type of linkage I need.
